A complete denture is used to replace missing teeth for patients who have no remaining teeth. It is important to replace missing teeth as their absence can not only affect your ability to chew and speak properly, but also negatively impact your facial appearance with sagging features resulting from the loss of tooth structure. Dentures can either be fixed or removable. Some patients may need to have remaining teeth extracted in order to place the denture as well as correcting any bony ridges to ensure proper placement and comfort.
